Brief information about Library
The library is centrally located and established in the year 1981. The Library is well ventilated with adequate facilities. It is one of the richest libraries in this area having 27022 books including Textbooks, Reference books, Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, etc on various subjects. The library regularly subscribes more than 15 National and international Journals and Periodicals.
Some of the reader friendly prominent features of the library are:
- A rich collection of books:– 27022 books including Reference books, Textbooks Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Year Books, Rare books etc. on various subjects and areas.
- Journals & Magazines:-Library subscribes around 15 National and International journals & Magazines devoted to various subjects and general interest.
- E-resources:- N-LIST Open Access Resources on various subject are available in the library, and 140 CDs also available
- Bound volumes:-The library is having more than 836 bound volumes of Journals.
- Enhance Reference Collections:-the Reference Sections have books, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias and year book etc are available. This facility is optimum, is used by teachers, U.G. & PG students and interested reader from the college and nearby areas.
- Computerized Services:-Library is providing Digitized services such as OPAC, Issuing of books with the help of SOUL 3.0 Software.
- Open Access systems:-Open access system is used for second and third year students, teaching & non-teaching staff.
- Manuscrits:-40 Manuscripts are available in the Library
- Thesis & Dissertation:-92 Thesis and Dissertation are available in the Library
- Rare Book:-637 Rare Books are available in the Library
- Braille Books –10 Braille Books are available in the Library
- E-Books – 7092 E-books are available in the Library
- Special Reposts –146 Special Reposts are available in the Library

Our Library Provides facility to access internet to the users, for that purpose well furnished separate cabin has been developed with five computers.
- Library Security
Library monitoring the members with the help of CCTV Camera’s. The Cameras are installed for stack room, reading rooms, entry of the library, Book issue Counter, and outer part of Library. With the help of CCTV cameras library watch all the movement of the users and help them in their problems.
- Reading Room:-
Separate reading room for girls and boys is available in the library. Near about 120 students can take the advantage of the reading room at a time. Flap chair, Plastic chairs, tables, magazine stand, display boards, lights and fans, etc. are available.
- OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue):
Easy access to library catalogue is provided through OPAC terminal, which is available near issuing counter in the library. The OPAC terminals are user friendly, menu driven, informative and useful to library users.
